I made a chess variant called Superchess. The goal is to capture all of you opponent's pieces, like turquoise chess. This is the starting position:

I would try knight to G4  very different the way you it set up would be a a very different game. Since only the knights can move till they are out of the way the others are trapped. Would be a different kind of game for sure, and no king to protect.

F6 to G4 first move

opens up one of the Queens for  h4  or  G5  also the Knight can take a Bishop without fear as the Queen will attack the Rook

F6 to G4 was probably a mistake

possibly but don't normally play with the strange board and even with the normal I am still learning but with luck and practice I hope to improve.
