Have anyone ever managed to trap an amazon in fairy chess? If yes, pls share. I guess some of you know about the variant called Maharajah and the Sepoys, where white Maharajah ( royal amazon) is fighting against the entire black army on its own. I could win pretty easily when playing with the amazon but not so much with the black pieces. You really need to know how to coordinate here. I also recently created my own game on 16 × 16 board where Maharajah is the monarch, and I managed to destroy the entire black army, but I just couldn't trap that bloody amazon until finally I don't remember how I stalemated it. I guess this is why king is not a long range piece - it would be very hard, if at all possible, to finish. Or maybe it would be easier with more material or smaller board...
