Variant: Programmed Chess

This is what I thought Automate was going to be. This is nothing like Automate.

Programmed Chess:

Board/pieces - Standard or any variant for that matter.

Each player records their proposed moves secretly.

At least 5 to 10, or some agreed upon number.

Both programs are revealed and played as listed in the correct sequencee

If at any point a move is illegal or it becomes impossible to proceed, then both programs halt at that point.

Players record their updated programs and the game continues.
