In the above, it looks like White has a handicap -- Black has a third rook in the corner for White's bishop -- or is this a mistake?
Actually, the Alekhine position, as given above, is one of 19 starting positions in Chess 960 (with standard chess, that makes 20) in which the LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES are symmetrical, except for king and queen. Those 19 symmetrical SPs are a very significant study in themselves, apart from the other 940 positions
