Chess960 does help with understanding openings. When I play standard chess I don`t think much about my first moves. Why should I when I know a couple of moves proven over time? But one has to really try to understand the opening position when it comes to Chess960.
To be honest, I could tell you how to blunder a lot in bullet. I reckon blunders and mistakes are inevitable in bullet. I enjoy watching top bullet players playing and they do make mistakes and blunders, too. If you want to minimize the number blunders/mistakes in blitz play standard games a lot.
Is chess960 helpful? Can anyone tell me how not to blunder in blitz and bullet?
