Thank you, the "boardpainter" is really great!

For analysis diagrams I would have two desires:

1.I would like to have different colors for different arrows. For example, an arrow is green, another arrow is red. But at the moment this does not work, all arrows always have the same color. 2. I would like to be able to highlight individual fields/squares in Color.

Hi Zied,
I used boardpainter to help make this move diagram (for the falcon and the griffin).
But since I put two different pieces on the same diagram, I had to use two different color arrows. I made the two colors by filling in the hollow area of the normal arrows. But if Boardpainter had an option for different color arrows that would be even better.

I added the Musketeer crossed swords emblem on the image. Let me know if that is OK with you. My graphics aren't at the same level as Musketeer quality. But I added  the emblem because the Musketeer website was helpful to make these graphics. Thanks for making it available!happy.png

Hi Zied,

I'm not sure what picture you are talking about. I saw some graphic at the boardpainter:

If this is related, I don't like the idea of the Archbishop = B+K. That is not normal. Usually the archbishop is B+N.

Also, you mentioned you will add new fairy pieces. I hope you will include an "official" graphic for the "huygens".  It is a piece which jumps prime numbers of squares in the rook's directions. I think this piece has good value for chess on an infinite board. In addition to chess games, it could be very interesting for mathematicians and philosophers. Here are some possible graphics (some are Musketeer-based, and others are not):

I think chess games on very large and infinite boards are getting more attention on YouTube and other websites. Here's some examples of chess positions on very large gameboards:

These images are from (infinite-chess).

Mayapira and I are already using the huygens in an infinite chess game, and it might also be used by other mathematicians like in pictures shown above. So it is my suggestion for the next chess piece to be added at the Musketeer website.

Btw, thanks for the website, and the excellent work you do there.happy.png

Hi, i noticed that my picture was not uploaded.

I spoke about Archbishp (B+N).

The change in the engravment is to give it a look that doesn't remind about KKK.

Hi

Board Painter is again updated with many new pieces (Bison Rhino etc.)

Welcome back Brainking2017. Great to hear from you again!

I think this forum has been better than ever, and there's new members from many places including China, Chile, Germany, Singapore, Spain, and Russia. Some of the "regulars" including Mayapira (U.S), McGoohan, (Switzerland), Cobra91 (U.S.), and Knig22, (Netherlands) also always seem to be in at least one game as usual!

IvanKosintsev (Ukraine) and LXIVC (U.S.) recently started a game of Waterloo which should be exciting!

(I hope I didn't miss any countries or regulars in this brief summary)

With you back (France) we have many corners of the globe included! I'll be back later today to play my moves. Welcome back!happy.png

Fly-Eagles-Fly

Is this the bug?

Those are some weird looking pieces...

Fly-Eagles-Fly

By the way, are there official rules for pieces other than the ten shown here? Can they be posted on your website or something?

Hi

Many diagrams were added. A bug to be corrected, but overall it works well.

We will take into consideration some suggestions to further improve Board Painter.

Enjoy it and share it.

Hi

Good job!

For using the board painter as an analysis board I still had two wishes:

1. I would like to have different colors for different arrows. For example, an arrow is green, another arrow is red. But at the moment this doesn't work, all arrows are always the same color. 2. I would like to be able to highlight individual fields/squares in different colors.

Are there rules for all the new pieces or just the original 10?

ZhenyaChaynikov

What is happened with board painter? It does not working on standard board,

ZhenyaChaynikov

I think will be Witch and Time Thief.
