Bullet and Blitz: why?

If not mistaken in thinking, there is now a "fashion" in relation to the chess game type Bullet and Blitz. I believe this is very harmful, especially for us beginners. Are games in which you play with instinct, not reason. There are numerous teachers and chess masters who recommend their beginning students not to play Blitz or Bullet.
Tournaments clubs are almost always in Blitz mode.

There are already many threads on this topic. I don't think anyone has any actual data. By all means, play more slow time control games if that is what you like.
