They said they might do so in V3--in V3 they already have Chess960, I believe
Chess.com should add more variants to live chess, like chess960, antichess, etc.
they've been saying they will for the past eight years... bug house is always just six months away!
lol
Well they want to play "real chess", the variants can get over-exaggerated and can become ridiculous.
Personally, it doesn't affect m that they don't have Live Chess variants.
erik also mentioned in his "ask me almost anything" topic that there will likely be other variants but he wasn't saying which ones ![]()
I seem to recall a post about them being tested by staff but I think that post has since been deleted.
My timing couldn't be much worse. Looks like some other variations were enabled recently. See erik's post, 189

If you want to play 960 (or 3 check, king of the hill, or crazyhouse), then go to the new Chess.com (you can get there with this link: www.chess.com/switch ). And then in live chess, click to open your options:

there already is variants
Since this was originally posted in December of 2015 .... your post is a little late ![]()
@Chessisfunforme, 960 is the only variant you can play against the computer.
This is an idea I had for a while. I want to see what everyone else thinks of it... Thanks! :)
