Forum Bogus Spam Accounts

This is a message to the regular forum users.

A person has created at least four bogus accounts to spam on this forum.

I complained to chess.com support and they recently blocked a user and removed hundreds of his comments that were riddled throughout this forum.

The user was musketeerchess

2 of his other spam accounts are brainking2016 and chessvariantlover

I also suspect another user that recently created his account, just look for a guy that spams a lot everyday.

These bogus accounts are being used to spam musketeer chess and any other variant that uses extra pieces.

So, for example, Capablanca chess will be spammed because it is played on a 10x8 board and uses 2 extra pieces.

The whole point of the spamming is that musketeerchess is trying to sell his variant pieces from another website.

If you think that someone is interested in your variant or the variant that you like then think again.

Watch for people that spam a lot, everyday so that their posts are always at the top of the forum.

Watch for people that invite you to play a game on this forum, they do this so that by playing a move each day the thread is always at the top of the forum. The game that they want to play will always feature extra pieces.

Watch for people that discuss extra pieces constantly and mention musketeer chess or the website, House of Staunton, that sells his variant pieces.

In the past musketeerchess sent me private messages trying to find out about my game, I still remember what he said in one message:

"Your intellectual property will naturally be protected."

Yeah, right.

Funny how the tone of the bogus accounts then changed on the public forum when he realised that I was not going to tell him anything, they all started saying that my game does not exist.

I am tired and bored with this forum now, too many rude people, spammers and "experts"

I am going it alone now, I will carry on building my website and will only publish the details of my game when I am ready.

I will not even pass by to read anything on this forum anymore, it no longer exists to me.

Say what you will spammers, but know one thing.

Judge my game when you see it, not before.

I will now close my account.
