Thanks for the initiative, Mark50. I will be back after new year. I see there is a game in progress already which will serve the purpose just fine for now? I'll continue to follow this thread and get more familiar with the variant. Hopefully Chess.com will offer practical board set ups for fun and outside-the-box "innovations" like this in the future? It should only be a matter of time really.
If someone can enjoy these gametypes privately amongst themselves, I can only see benefits. Some of the negative responses seem less thought out than the concept they are critisizing, and are untimely imho, but ok..

Yes vinzer.The current game is a trial for this variant feasibility to overcome memorization.If the current mode is not sufficient for the purposes,we will try asymmetric type or three pieces switch.
Maybe you want to try the mode type you are interested in.You could invite your member friends to play here with your own board setup and mode you want to.We need others views on this matter.

It seems the memorization of certain pieces configuration on the board have to be perceived at a glance of sight,mostly.For instance,Black rook and knight near of queen in our game are quite deceptive of it's actual configuration purposes.Especially when it is being related to subconsciousness memory.While it maybe rare to deliberately recalling memory using step by step pieces function conversion to help the player.The distraction purposes of this variant will be obvious when the game is entering middle game stage, which all minor pieces have their direct role to the game's course.
What is your opinion ?

Hi James. What do you mean by chess 360 ? As far as i know there is chess 960. In the front page of this web site,select "Play online".In the bottom left corner there is chess 960.

50Mark, I'm not sure I'm understanding this move. What move have you played?
Also, 50Mark, instead of updating old posts, I think we should just keep posting new posts, so that I can track the progress of the game better. If we keep updating old posts, I won't be able to see what the board looked like earlier; which would be a disadvantage. (especially when one of us makes a mistake in notation: it will be harder to figure out where we went wrong.)
I say: at this stage, don't worry about the "hate" responses that you might get; people are going to get overly critical about chess variants. (You should see the mountain tall responses that I have gotten on ALL my variants! And, I have more than 4.) It's when you respond to them that you give them power. Don't be afraid that this thread will be revived each time you post a new move. Simply choose your battles; since, honestly, some responses are not worth responding to.
8. Rfg1 means "Rook at f file goes to g1 square".
