Hello ...

I played a very odd variant but it sounds funny, its name is Insane chess. The difference is that every piece except king changes randomly after movement to other piece or stay the same.

I think its not that much good for serious playing but its excellent for having fun ..

whats your opinion?

If pieces change randomly it is not chess. Chess is not a game of chance. Chess is a game of skill.

I remember seeing this variant earlier right here.  At first I thought it wasn't a real variant.

(obviously) it is insane.
