After Vietnam, Germany and Japan are the countries outside China with the most number of native Xiangqi enthusiasts. Michael Naegler of Germany has a total of 41 games ( in international tournaments ) on the internet for viewers, while Shoshi Kazuharu of Japan has an even more enviable record of 118 games. While they met in the 10th World Xiangqi Championship in 2007, they played the following game in which Kazuharu won in 129 moves.
