No it doesn't make sense. But that's how the site now works. I assume that 1.d4 or 1.e4 is always good enough from any 960-position. Or any pawn move that frees your Bishop. Thinking that way, you can perfectly deal with how the site now works and do your first move within the first 10 sec.

I'm wondering if it makes sense to lose a 960 game in 15 seconds, right before opening, because you haven't sorted out what piece to move yet. This is true especially in 960 where each position is a new one. I have lost a couple of 3 minutes matches this way. Do you think it makes sense?
