This game mode of chess is identical to normal chess save for the fact that the players can choose to skip their own turns and 'pass'. If both players 'pass' 3 times in a row, then it's a draw. If the game is in the position of a stalemate, however, then it's over like in normal chess.

And you can't pass when checked.

Absurd! Don't try to teach my Grandfather to play chess. In the good old times a stalemate wasn't stale!
