Salute brainking2016 !
Personally, I welcome all experiments with Waterloo (design, rules, programming, games, etc.). New friends and new ideas mean more interest. It's great!
There are also rectangular " classical" 3D (see 8x8x2 Waterloo above) and even (following example of brothers Strugatskiy) 4D chess boards.
In the normal playing board for Waterloo (10 x 10 blue and white) what is extra block at the right ("r" and "s")? Are those extra pieces to put on the board later? It does look interesting![]()
All is easy as pie. Alliances are very "strong" pieces (V-weapons) reserved ("r...s") for promotion and for the "merge" move of Guards (G+N=J). Commanders understand me.![]()

Thanks! I think I understand. Those pieces are ready to play when other pieces promote or merge. The game looks fun!

Of course I also can blunder but it seems to me that the only worthy solution for you in the position after 38 move is resignation. I very much hope that this is not your last Waterloo.
