We must not deceive ourselves, chess.com is facing a cheating crisis.
But maybe there's a way out.
See, the Fair Play team has their own systems that identify suspect accounts, but they do have some important problems.
• The automatic system analyses every game played in the website and tell, using very specific and precise data, if the player is cheating or not. Looks good, but the system need a lifetime of data to prove someone as guilty, which means that, despite effective, the system needs a lot of time to work properly, allowing cheaters to cause great damage.
• And there's the reports system, based on individual reports that are analysed by their employees. It's meant to be a quicker solution, but lots of reports are wrong, because they're, many times, angry based or happened some misevaluation. This constantly misleads chess.com's team.
Now, imagine if, instead of random reports, their team received already selected reports, making sure these are more effective and less misleading? Sounds great, right?
That's why I created the Anti-Cheating Association (ACA), an institution that receives individual reports and analyses them before they are officially sent to their team, by using a very complex and efficient system with three layers of analysis.
And I want to make it work.
If your are interested about my idea, and believe that together we can make chess.com a more fair place to play, join the ACA and let's do it!
The recruitment and the operations shall start soon.
