I would have over 1,700 points but every time I play a person they quit when I start to beat them. I get barely any points when people Abandon or Resign it’s annoying making me want to find another game that gets rid of people that do that crap often

I'm pretty sure you get the same amount of points if one resign or if you checkmate him/her.
And one aborts before the game even starts chess.com pairs you automatically with someone else almost immediatly
