How Can I Make a Club More Popular?

Hey guys, I was wondering about how I could make a club more popular. Any suggestions?

Since I have a club with 17 members I can give some clue.
Just make sure your club is active and responding. Also host tournaments and VC's. Help your members.

Absolutely correct, especially that last part about not being harsh-----one of the clubs I'm in--for the moment--is borderline authoritarian, with admins being pushy about joining Team Matches (i.e., club Daily games against other clubs), or being critical concerning Vote Chess games (heck, this club has strict rules about Vote Chess itself, like you can't vote unless there's less than 24 hours on the "clock"; can only vote on the possible moves discussed in the game forum; eyc.)...silly!!

i am also confused since, I have made a club a month ago and haven't gotten any members(except for my brother). Do you just need to be patient or is there something that all of the big clubs have that I don't

What do you do if none of your members show up to events even if you remind them in real life? thats a problem im having.
