Let's guess: How long will it take until the current "g3" bug will be fixed?

@Tournamentix, please, update the text in topic 👇

1. Incorrect order (new bug?):

2. Just doesn't fit my background 🙂:

Tournamentix

Just sent "g3" Bug test challenges to Danny Rensch Fan Club and Jdcannon:

.

Thought, you'll have a few more ideas who we should try to wake up.

Tournamentix

And two more test challenges to Chess.com Staff ...

... and NM Sam's Chess Club:

@Martin_Stahl's answer on my detailed comment with explications, screenshots and the demand ("Opening a ticket would be great. Until this will be solved, we can't continue with League play.") in a public Chess.com Beta forum:

I will not allow myself to comment on the level of priority, which I'm assuming after this.

@Tounamentix , you can politely, summarize the "context", because I'm reporting what we write to many interested users and on our side, and I am not able to be detailed like you, also because, I translated and understood that the problem lies in the new format for clubs teams and also the leagues, but if you help me, we will have many more supporters, even in our clubs. If we involve all our friends, we gather maybe even a few million users.
that could change the current situation, I think, if I'm wrong correct me calmly. Think about it, thank you!

Note --- my "thumbs down" on Comment #25 is in response to the statement "tickets may not get seen until early in the week either". I would think that this "bug" should be among the highest priority issues!

It seems that the "g3 bug" is only impacting team match challenges, not individual game challenges. Within the past hour, I received one team match challenge to one of my clubs and two personal individual game challenges.

The team match challenge has the pawn on G3, but the two individual game challenges had the correct starting position.

Tournamentix

Time for BULLET votes has past without any know action.

I suspect it won't happen till Wednesday so thumbs down for me

The "g3" bug last for more than 65 hours now. It makes creating new daily matches and tournaments near to impossible, because in most of them an unwanted pawn appears on "g3". Several competitions needed to interrupt preparation of new rounds. Sent challenges, which are showing this bug with some explanation to chess clubs, which are owned by Erik Allebest, Danny Rensch, Sam Copeland, Jonathan Cannon and Michael Greene. They all were online in the meantime – without any reaction until now.

After three days a first concrete statement on the "g3" bug from @jdcannon in Chess.com Beta: "(...) the source of the bug is not yet known. It is currently being investigated by our developers and is has been given a top priority status."

Does anyone know, how this is to be deciphered, e.g., in terms of average time?

This isn’t solved by making a challenge from a laptop rather than an iphone.

Do we know how one admin was able to raise several correct challenges after the g3 bug was introduced?

Tournamentix

No, this is the only match, which I know about being created later with a correct starting position. The challenging confirmed, that he simply could create this correct challenge as usual in his laptop: https://www.chess.com/club/matches/art-of-chess/1512405/games

"Top priority status" is good sign.

They are on it, nothing that you have to become staff for.

They really don't know, so no time estimation promised, it would be guessing.

Don't even guess about non-priority status bugs -)

They answered on Monday morning which is quite normal and obvious; I guess.
