If you look at the proof of concept located at www.4teamchess.com you will see simulated results. I have Eric's approval to use match results in the implemented tournament., The prize fund is 80% of the entry fee. For an event of 25000 entries, that amounts to $120,000 for the first place winner take all team and $4425 for the first place one winner for every 500 entries. The tournament is designed so that novices can be on the same team as a GM with two intermediate-ranked players.  Chess.com will share in the proceeds of the entry fees. There is no other tournament concept that can run daily events with this concept, in fact, it is possible to run the tournament 8 times a day with two or more events. i.e. winner takes all and a ratio of entries like 1 winner for every 500 entries. With over 6 million subscribers and around 200,000 matches in any given time period, I think if only .03% of players may find this tournament idea attractive. It is a World Wide chess tournament after all. That is the number I approximate in my simulation.  There will always be a free tournament with two events once a day. Check it out.
