3 Fold repetition draw.

Has anyone had a problem with this. I just played a game which ended by 3 fold repetition when I had only moved my piece twice. I was in a good position and way up on the clock and there was no need for me top play for a draw. https://www.chess.com/game/122873707466

He moved his bishop 3 times, I only moved my king twice

It's triple repetition of position ... It's not about moving the same piece.

The same position is on the board after black moves 33, 35, and 37

I also just drew by repetition even though I moved my King to a different square and then it drew!?

When you look at the game score, it shows you the position that was repeated three times by adding an arrow going around in a circle three times.

The position was the same after black's 33rd, 35th and 37th moves.

Note that 3 fold repetition is NOT JUST by repetition of position. The SAME PERSON must also be *ON MOVE* when the position occurs a second time and a third time. For example, if you have position "A", and it's white's turn to move, and the SAME position occurs, *BUT* it is BLACK'S turn to move "Position B" with the same piece setup, this is *NOT* a repetition at all, as the same player is not on move.

For example: look at these moves:

1 b3 b6 2 Ba3 Na6 3 Bb2 Nb8 4 Bc1.

The position after 4 Bc1 with piece placement on the board has occured twice. But in the FIRST occurrence, on the BEGINNING of move 2, it was white's move. But in the second occurrence, which happens after 4 Bc1, it is BLACK'S move, not white's, so this does NOT count as a repetition, because the other player is to move in this position (Black), not the original player to move (White), when this piece setup first happened.
