60 minute games

longer games certainly allow u more time to think and give lovely tactics in games. Why doesn't chess.com place a 60 option in time options when selecting a new game. it will encourage players to play longer games.

you can set longer time controls manually.

Sorry for reviving the zombie thread, but I'd like to comment on that. Obviously, online chess is diffrent from standard chess. About k-scope's comment, it's true that you can set time controls manually, but it means nothing, as (almost) no one sets time controls manually. So I also think that 60 minutes should be an additional option to choose defined in live chess.

Almost 10 years later that theme still needs to be adressed. It would be the easiest thing on earth for chess.com to add such a button with a "60" on it. What's the problem?

I'm using the android app. If I scroll down and click 'More' at the bottom of the time control screen then additional options do pop up including a 60 minute game.
