I wonder what happened to Haseeb Hameed

rishikeshwaran

Yes, he cheated. But this is very emotional. I cannot see this:

But he was very impressive in the series against India back in 2016. He just played 3 games but was exciting to watch.

I know. But unfortunately, he is facing stiff competition right now. He'll certainly play in the future, though.

We got the red print back I see

I don't blame him.  They cheat at cricket.

Not all of them. Only 3 as they say. But it is hard to believe that Lehmann is not involved.

MGleason

It's also hard to believe that other senior players were not involved, or at least didn't know.  Keeping an eye on the ball and its condition is a major part of high-level cricket.

It is being said that Starc, Hazlewood and Lyon were not informed about this and they were very upset over the conspirators. Anyways, 1 year ban is too harsh!

Luis_Fonsi

wtf

I don't mind Warner's ban, he deserved it given his history.

Luis_Fonsi

idk wuts goin on

A lengthy ban sends a message to others who are doing this too.  If the ICC is going to make an effort to clean this up, making an example of people who get caught red-handed is a good way to start.

Finally! A mod caught red-handed posting about a competitor site! Taking a screenshot to use this without context later.

Because who cares about cricket?

They should have done it earlier. They never did this to Michael Atherton, Sachin, Waqar Younis, Dravid, Marcus Trescothick, Broad, Anderson, du Plessis and 'The Master of Ball Tampering' Afridi (He got hungry and ate the ball). So, it seems unfair now.

Change has to start somewhere.

But why here?

pranay_p

Because otherwise it will just add to the long list of examples of unpunished cheating.
