OP, you sound like a 12y old boy.

And 12 year olds can as well be very decent and mature.

Not everyone can be as sophisticated as you Muhammad.

what I like to do in blitz, if I have a mate in one, is send a few messages like, "hmm, what shall i do next..?" and "would [eg] Qf6 be good?".  then I like to wait utnil the last couple of seconds before delivering mate.

Depends. Was your opponent rude first?

Unsporting only if you waste a minute or more on that mate in one. Just my two cents.

sent to my opponents gg means you 'great git' or ''go golfing' anything but play with your lack of etiquette by not resigning a LOST game, you 'great goose'

I had someone do this to me recently. It was hilarious to not say a word, but prove his assumption wrong and crush him in just a few moves. 

the thread is still about what gg means. pompous means magnificent, splendid, inflated, self-important. your calling me pompous I took as a compliment because it recognised my 'greatness'. at least in my own estimation and yours too
