All Anands pieces look well placed and its still early. No opening troubles. Usually it takes a lot of work before they find good influential squares but it looks like Magnus just gave them to Vishy.

Qa4? fails to some simple tactics. Nxc3 Qxc4 Bxd4! Nxd4? Qxd4 Qxd4 Nxe2+ winning.

white does not want to play Nxd5 and have a constantly worse position for the rest of the game.

I think magnus is looking at Qb3, trying to muddy the waters....the na5 stuff leading to a draw as mentioned in a few places here is not something id see vishy doing.

Black is probably slightly better, the biggest question is if Anand is willing to play this position.

No draw offers I believe, repeats are always OK.

If Anand forces the draw here he´ll have the psychological advantage, having shown that he´s defused everything Magnus can do as White in 15 moves.

this is only 12 games and quick draws are disappointing.
