Avatar Issues and Fixes

Hey everybody!

We are aware of a few avatar issues and are currently addressing those issues.

If you feel your avatar is missing and showing a default avatar instead, please be aware that we are addressing these issues.

You will not need to re-upload your avatar if you see a default image. 

All of these issues will be resolved for everyone within a 3 hour time frame.

Does this apply to "group" avatars also?  Or just personal profile avatars?

This is primarily to fix a collection user-based avatars. Can you report to me the issue you see with your group avatar?

My avatar has returned but its now very blurry, as though the resolution has drastically dropped.  I noticed some other people have this issue too.  Do I need to re-upload?

Ditto to RootsRocker problem and I can't upload a new avatar as the edit part of the screen has browse only tab on all the time, despite what I try!

I have no idea what you guys are talking about :)

I noticed recently that my friends avatars are changing all the time. I will see the friends avatar as a new photo and go to their home page and its a different avatar then on my home page?

How do I remove my avatar? I see the option to change it but I don't won't to have one at all.

@tripler: you can always download the image of a member who doesn't have anyone and put it as yours.
