Bad sport player pool

I think I have been put into a bad sport pool for aborting too often (I didn't know I could set a range for my opponents rating, and I just cannot wait 1 minute for my opponent to play the first move). If this has happened to anyone else, how long does it take to get out of it? It took me like 3 minutes to find a game, and it ended up being against a 900.
