Board disappears after confirming move (live chess with a friend)

I played my first live chess game with a friend (on my laptop).  I have to click Confirm Move in order for my friend to see my move.  But once I do that the board disappears (it actually shrinks down to icon size) and I have to click the 'board' icon in order to see the board full size again.  When the full size board re-appears the it looks as it did before I made the move, then I see the move actually happen.  It's a bit distracting..is there a way to stop the board from disappearing after 'Confirm Move' ?

Have you tried going to settings?

That sounds more like a Daily Chess game. You can change what happens after a move under your Daily Chess settings. You'll want to change it to stay on the game.
