Bot called Nelson rated 1300

I’m stuck on the 1300 bot Nelson. I can’t win against his queen. Any advice? Is there a good defense out there, either with white or black? Thanks in advance.
Never mind... just beat him today.

Beware ! ......bots are mostly cheating, cos the use an engine , best to report them ! 🙀

I am not even sure the bots play consistently. I was having trouble beating Maria even though I had beaten Nelson. Maria seemed to be playing a tougher game.
After several tries I gave up. The other day, having blundered a game away elsewhere, I played a quick game against Maria. I was not thinking particularly hard, was not scrutinising every move but found myself ahead and after a wobble, went on to win.
