What do you mean? You have to manually select to play them

No, their challenges come through as games that have already started. I never get a chance to decline and I never asked for them. I can abort the game…but how can I get them to stop even starting games with me.

I cant believe spam accounts exist here.

Unless you're getting daily tournament games, games do no auto pair and start. You can get challenged, where you're free to decline.

If you don't want to receive any game challenges, you can update your Privacy setting of Allow Game Challenges on the website to off

Bots and People are not the same and I really wish that chess.com did not treat them that way. I don't mind receiving challenges from real people, like friends of mine that I know IRL. I do NOT want to get regular alerts from an AI/BOT looking for a match. That's just aggressive behavior from this service to get people to keep tuning into the app. I try to minimize the amount of noise/spam/ads etc I receive in my life and I wish there was an option to disable bot challenges and bot challenge alerts separately from human challenges.
