@AndTheLittleOneSaid. Thanks for your response. I am using Chrome and Firefox. Opening Explorer is on neither. What browser are you using?

FORAA

using Chrome.

Chrome. I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to by Opening Explorer, but the Game Explorer is accessible by the Learn menu, and acts as an opening database, and clicking on the Explore link when looking at a game takes you to the exact position:

Is that not what you are after?

Sooner

Yes, AndTheLittleOneSaid and Omer_Hayyam, I see Explore now. That's what I was referring to. Thanks for the help. All of these changes at once can be a bit overhwleming and disorienting at times. Thanks again.

Are you calling me a liar ?

Where is your quote of my post in it's entirety ??

If i told you I submitted it in one click then am telling you the truth & there are IT methods to prove is this should I decide to sue you for Slander

I didn't lie to you so please do not accuse..

Maybe doesn't matter ( to you ) matters great deal to me to be accused of lying.

Are you calling me a liar? I hit quote, that part wasn't there when I removed the fist part of the quote that I wasn't replying to above it. I guess it could just another site bug with the new design and it just didn't show on my side of things. And since the site doesn't have an "last edited" line (like some other forum software) any post can be edited after the fact (I actually did one of mine to add a quote in and I sometimes fix spelling/grammar mistakes I make) then I can't say for sure you did or didn't or if you did before my post was actually posted and have to rely on what I saw and did on my post.

I usually dislike quoting the whole post if I'm only referring to one thing in it and thus I don't have a copy of the original quote. So, no I'm not calling you a liar and I guess you aren't calling me one either.

As to this being and official forum? erik posted it so I guess you could call it that. But like all the other forums, including the support ones, other members help out and answer questions or provide their own take. It's a nature of the beast.

I am perhaps in the wrong-forum with my problem. Definitely speaking to wrong-person..

I arrived here assuming was official as saw Erik's post at start ? Not having time to read the 300+ items was skimming this & came across yourself being patronising & condescending towards those asking questions.

Assuming you were staff-member of course I immediately took issue with you & still do yet will not split-hairs with you any further over this.

You may have become overexcited at being given a task to do & failed to realise this. Suggest re-reading the forum will help you if self-critiscism matters to you.

I will take my concerns to a place were they will be politely & properly answered.

Sorry, if you had specific concerns other than "this looks like facebook" then help might be more forthcoming. I just tried to answer your questions. I will re-read through those posts and see if you had a complaint/bug report other than that but I don't recall you having one.

As to your assumption, if you don't see the STAFF icon next to a person's name, they aren't staff. Doesn't mean they can't provide accurate and useful answers though.

As to being overexcited? I think i'm just semi-excited and I wasn't given any task to do ... I do this of my own free will Smile

Can non-paying players still go on vacation (pause games) without a paying membership?

I'm pretty sure you still can. However, it can't be your turn to move on any games when you go on vacation.

Very Noble of you !

Will test this:

Can't Find Something in the New Design? Ask Here!

Q: What has happened to the detailed & profile-information of members of the site found guilty of cheating ?

I have looked everywhere but cannot find it only this :

Member Account Closed

Sorry! This member's account has been closed.

Where's the status? It's been removed?

If you had a status before it should still be there. I just checked yours and it is there. It is on the About Me tab on your profile.

That said, erik has said previously on the Redesign forum that feature was going to go away; not sure if they changed their mind and added it back or if it will still go away at some point. Though, I think it was gone in a previous incarnation of the design.

You sure about that Martin ?

Is auto-vacation for paying-members no longer functional then ?

As far as I can remember, you always got an account closed message when trying to see the profile of an account closed for cheating. Though, it usually did have a box to the right explaining that was the reason.

I'm pretty sure you couldn't view the whole profile anyway. Maybe just the basics. Not sure why that changed or if they will bring back a view similar to the old one.

I know this was brought up in the Cheating Forums too.

Well, I formatted the answer to the member; since he is a basic member that information should still be accurate.

But yes, for premium members auto-vacation can kick in.

@Martin_Stahl

So if you are not staff & are only trying to be helpful do you plan to respond to everyone's posts in his forum even if you do not know the answer to their questions ?

( before I turn tracking off )

AndTheLittleOneSaid

Yeah Martin!! Stop trying to help! Undecided
