Dunno if this is the right place for this, but...

The 'old' tactics trainer's problem solved/failed page showed *my* time to solve (fail) as well as the average time.

The 'new' one only shows the Avg time.

I know I could turn the 'show timer' setting on, but that displays a coundown/timer bar that I find very distracting.

Is there any way to resurect the 'my time' display?

You mean here? Is this the context you are referring to?

If you have the option in your settings to not show the timer then the time elapsed also doesn't show in the new design. I've seen a few posts about it.

D'oh... That setting should only affect the distracting orange bar below the board. We'll fix ASAP!

Where can I find a link to a list of a group's in progress and completed vote chess games?  Also, in the Show All pages of completed games, where can I find the names of the two groups that played each game?

Yeah, that's what I want, problem is if the 'Show Timer' is off (so I don't get the countdown bar) I get

Understood. We're going to fix it so that the small "up-count" timer to the right stays put. The setting will affect only the orange bar below the board.

I just don't like the new format in general.

Taxi

Well Babs, I tried what you said and posted a ticket....the stated 24 hours have been and gone and yet no reply! Grrrrr

chess_kebabs

You should have gotten an  automated reply at least via email Taxi?

Sometimes staff do take 2-3 days to reply, that's normal. They shouldn't state 24 hours if they can't commit to that though. Should change to 48 at least or say up to 48 or 72 hours. Or does it say 'normally' they will reply within 24 hours?  Regardless, they will answer you Taxi they always do, but am suspecting they have been inundated/bombarded with tickets so I would expect them to take longer than normal at the moment to reply. You could be getting a reply now as we speak, or very soon. :)

Nice choice of avatar. The Sydney Opera House looks stunning at night..

Yes I know Babs...just a shame as I loved this site before.....not that keen at the moment...I stopped paying my membership a while back over something which chess.com wouldn't help me with, so guess I can't moan about things as I nolonger pay to be here :(

himath2009

Where can I find my Team's Matches in Progress counter?...

chess_kebabs

I'm sure they will answer you eventually Taxi, regardless if you're a premium or non-premium member. Maybe premium members get priority. If this was my business I would be taking care of my paying customers before my  non-paying customers,  but would be planning to answer the non-paying customers as well, eventually. I wouldn't ignore their concerns/tickets and I'm sure staff won't ignore yours either. Just  need to wait til they can get to it. :)

Taxi

Babs, you areindeed very wise....chess.com are lucky to have you here, and I feel verylucky to have met you here....thank you for putting up with the moans and complaints of this grumpy old man :))))

chess_kebabs

Thanks Taxi for your sweet words, though doubt the staff feel the same way. 4 million members here, I'm just no. 798,453.. lol.

Not saying staff don't value me as a member here, just saying I would expect them to value most of their members just as equally. :)

As far as putting up with your moans, anytime dear. hehe. Smile

erik

we value you all :)

24 hours from now you will see a TON of new tiny bug fixes to address the many annoyances you have reported. thank you!

Does that include the live tourney page we've been waiting on for four months?

Any help with my question please ?

Is this the question you are wondering about?

The easiest place to look is on your Home page (http://www.chess.com/home/); to the left, you'll see a grid of friend-avatars where your friends are sorted left-right and top-bottom in the order they were most recently online. So people who are *currently* online (showing green squares on the avatars) will be at the top.

If you need to go deeper than the last 12 friends who have recently been online, then yes, you'd need to click the link above the grid and go to your Friends list, which by default is sorted by their last sign-in time.

knightspawn5

Does it include the Friends issue???
