Chess.com bug?

Look at the image: on the board there's a mate, on the move record there's written De7#, still the result is 1/2!

Is there a bug or what else???

It's not a bug. Black ran out of time before the mate got to chess.com's servers.  Fortunately, white only had his king and therefore could not have won.

A draw is automatically declared.

Well, but if the Black ran out of time before the mate got to chess server, why the mate il recorded on the move reconrd? The move record as well is controlled by the chess server.

In real game, you FIRST move, and THEN record your move.

Here appear to happens the other way: FIRST the server write down your move, and THEN the server play your move.

Is not the right way to go....

P.S. Anyway, I think I'm the first and the only one who happened this happy.png

Because the client and the server are completely separate. The client records what happens in the client and sends that to the server. The server looks at it's internal clock for the game, adjusts for lag and determines if the move was received in time. In this case, the move was not received in time and a draw was awarded.

The server relays the updated game state to the client, which then shows the score. So, there does appear to be a bug where the board state is not also reset to the final position when the result updates,

why De7 and not Qe7?

Because in Italian, the piece is a Donna, not a Queen wink.png

chess.com actually changes the notation to the language of your flag?

Gobolinno

I think it's more to change the notation to the language of your settings.

I have a Chilean flag (so Spanish for me) but the settings in english, and it shows the english nomenclature for the pieces.

Yep, it's based on the language in your settings. Just changed mine to German and I get the appropriate notation for that.
