The problem is that they can just create a new free account and be back at it the next day after having an account flagged or closed. No way to prevent bad behavior like this.

...of stallers and people who abandon ("disconnect") games when they lose.
I played 100 blitz games today and won 60. Of those 60. 12 were "won by abandonment". That's a whopping 20%! And these are just the disconnecters! Not counted are all those people who let the clock run down for three minutes in a 5-minute blitz game and then resign with 10s left. I estimate the true ratio of stallers and quitters to be over one third!
I can't put game links here because that would be "naming and shaming", which is not allowed. But everyone can download my PGNs in bulk and do a simple search for "abandonment" with any text editor.
Chess.com seriously needs to dole out more sanctions against these poor sports.
