You must be bad at cheat detection. Ive reported many cheaters, especially in rapid. They've all gotten banned. A few in blitz. They were banned as well.

I joined recently from another platform (not lichess) which has some severe server issues. I have to admit though that I have got a super fast connection and I haven't experienced anything really bad. I wouldn't exclude that it could be a broadband issue on your side.

Re cheating, one of my opponents got banned due to cheating. So far I haven't reported anyone even if I had my doubts on one opponent but can't be sure. I think the system broadly works, but surely something might slip through the cracks.
