The chess.com process for recognizing a title is straightforward.
you will be asked for the link to your page at FIDE that documents the title and for a photo of the FIDE certificate you received when you achieved the title.
After you submit the evidence that you in fact have the the title, it will take a week or so for chess.com to verify it. No need to get upset. If you in fact have the title, it will be easy to document. If you do not have the title, that also is easily verified.

When you achieve a title, does FIDE really give a certificate claiming "Person X got CM title" ?? This sounds new to me.
