I think its the dragons. China has many, many types of dragons. Some, like rodents, chew on electrical equipment, in this case entire internet networks--pesky dragons. You should be safe in urban areas, which typically confuse huge reptilian monsters, unless you're Godzilla. Sorry, Tokyo.
