as much as i am a bit disappointed Ian won again, my mind has kind of changed after thinking about the rematch and that maybe it will be even greater than last time. Nepo played a very solid tournament going undefeated and he did deserve his moments so cheers and luck to him for winning the candidates and challenging Magnus at the 2022 WCC match 🇳🇴 🇷🇺

Congrats to Ian for winning the candidates again, but whether Magnus will defend his title is unknown though

hikaru seem's pretty unlikely, but ding and fabi I think were the favorites to win

I was rooting for Hikaru.  Didn't think he would win, but he did better than I expected.

Thanks,

WTF...

Nepo wins the Candidates, and Chess.com makes the video about Hikaru LOL

Hikaru is the subject and Nepo is the direct object... also nice propaganda showing possibly Hikaru's first ever act of OTB sportsmanship.

I mean sure, give your marketing director a raise or whatever, most kids only recognize one player, so you need to put Hikaru in the title (first name of course, because noob kids don't know who "Naka" is), but I threw up in my mouth a little.

We will always have St. Louis where only a GM can choke out a fellow GM in somebody’s front yard lol
