Current Rating 2000, Highest Rating 1200 !!

GM Igor Smirnov is author of many courses. I chanced upon his site and am getting some nice free emails as pre-sale promotion. To check if he is also present at chess.com I searched for his name and found that indeed he is a member (I think mainly to promote his courses). Since he is a teacher and a GM, obviously I was interested in seeing his online statistics. They make strange reading. See below:

I'm betting that GM's get a different starting rating than us mortal folks, and the "highest" algorithm just doesn't realize that.

Possibly. If that is the case then highest should also be adjusted to 2000 at the start itself.

There are similar issues else where. For example in Team Matches the current score shown at the bottom of a match manifest is many times different than shown in list of all the matches of a group.

Take this for example. Actual score is 2-0. Such things should not be too difficult to sort out. There continuous presence is an unnecessary irritant.
