Daily chess - Can I consult my own games?

In Daily chess, I'm playing an obscure line that doesn't have a lot of book to it.  However, I have played this line before in daily chess, and when I was finished that game, I ran the chess.com analysis, and I saved my game with the analysis included.  I suspect there may be some lines in this analysis that don't exist in any book.

Is it fair for me to consider games I have completed and their post-game analysis as part of my book?

I think it is allowed. You are not allowed to use an engine. But you can look at previous games and databases of games - such as Explorer in chess.com. Of course, some people don't like it. Some people think it is cheating. But I don't. Most importantly, nor does chess.com.

I think it is cheating, and I suspect that deep down, you know it's cheating as well, otherwise you wouldn't have posted this. It's probably not going to make a massive difference, and if you were playing against me I wouldn't hate you for it, but it is cheating.

Actually, I used to play a guy rated 300 points below me and I would always encourage him to review book openings during our games, so he would at least get to the middle game without dropping pieces or getting into a positional bind early on. But I knew he was doing it, encouraged it actually, and we played for the sake of his learning.
