I’m new. Is the Daily CC just based on number of games played? How do you advance?

Daily tournaments get configured with a number of players in each pairing group that advance to the next round. For that event it's 1, unless there are ties.

I see his 5+5 hanging mate back and forth every move. But then in daily he plays more accurately than 2700 GM. I really hope they will ban him on time, I'll try to take 22-23 hours per move to maximize the odds
