Disapointed of how chess.com handels insulting players

I am generally very satisfied with chess.com and all the wonderful chess material on the site. Great place that has helped med improve a lot. Sadly I had a bad experience today.

I was playing a random opponent who kept insulting me, I guess it was his way of trying to disturb me so I would make blunders. After the game I want to report the guy, but on the report page it says: “Please DO NOT send reports for issues you can handle yourself by simply disabling chat. Thank you!”

I am really disappointed at this attitude from chess.com. I pay 14$ a month and therefore I find it hard to accept that insulting players are not moderated in any way because you can just ignore them and let them go on and insult their next opponent.

Please spend at least some resources to keep a record of players that keep using offensive language unprovoked. Thanks.

How come you didn't just disable chat after the first insult?

B-Lamberth

Actually I was not aware that you can disable chat. If it happens again I will of course.

This is a joke, but:

1st step: Gather proof.

2nd step. Don't bother to play. Load your most powerful engine.

3rd step. Destroy.

4th step. Report him.

soth

Report him, then Javiert will send him in that french gulag.
