I hear you with finding things--any new interface takes a little getting used to. For instance, it took me a while to find out how to flip the board on the new version. And, regarding features, there were some nice things, such as Computer Workout. However, overall, I think there is much more to be excityed about in the new version than to miss in the old one.
Do you like the "new" chess.com site?

Don't know; They can have my V2 when they pry it out of my cold, dead...Wait, that's a different issue...sorry.

The Vote Chess options are brilliant. Much better transparency on who voted for what and when.
Messaging is better as well, but I agree that overall navigation not as intuitive.
I keep flipping over from old to new to old.

Can you make the text field for forum replies bigger?
Also, on my Android phone it's using V2 when browsing with Chrome. How do I force it to use V3?

I tried it a few times but v2 all day every day.. the new design is more slick but somehow this feels intuitively more right

The new site takes 5-12 seconds to load a page that the old site only takes about 1 sec. to load. That is the only reason I use the old site. Everything is better on the new...

You can drag the reply window down and make it larger.
On v2, there is a link at the bottom of most pages to Try the new Chess.com.

Yes, I have to drag the reply window to make it larger, that's the problem, I have to do each most of the time.
Also, how can I stop following topics? I keep getting notifications for some topics I no longer care about ... just because I made one post on them at some point many days ago ...
Don't tell me I have to find that post I had made, edit it and disable the "Follow" checkbox. That thread has 500 replies.
I'm not sure if I like it. What is it like? No, I don't care for it.. I like Casablanca. old site had some features that I miss such as simplified explore function in daily games and more intuitive navigation

Yeah, reply box size is not a saved thing. Maybe make a suggestion for it in a new topic?
As to unfollowing, yes, you have to go to the topic and unfollow it. Any page on the topic, above the reply box, uncheck Follow. You can also go to your settings snd turn off the feature that automatically follows content you post in, but that will only work for future interactions.
I really don't like the new site! I know a lot of people will but I hope you decide to keep the old one running for good. I have never understood the desire to completely change something that was working so wonderfully anyway!
I guess I'm just old and set in my ways!
How do you like the "new" chess.com site? Do you like its features, or do you miss certain features from the "old" site? Personally, I like the look, but the old site had some features that I miss such as simplified "explore" function in daily games and more intuitive navigation.
