En passant on Analysis

Very annoyed today. I was using analysis to plan my next move on a daily chess game and it showed en passant as unavailable for my opponent. Stupidly I moved my pawn and lo and behold my pawn was captured, effectively losing me the game ☹️

You are aware that using analysis - the one to 5 lines is illegal, but making moves on the board without the lines is fine.

Please explain what you mean by it showed you.
