I had realized this after doing a reverse image search. It’s sad, since ‘she’ was a good friend of mine.
This is yet another reminder to be careful of who you talk to on the internet and what information you give out.

after some light investigation, i found out that’s not actually her in the profile pic. she’s using pics of juless rodriguez from pinterest. also I want an explanation out of her and her intentions
if you still wanna talk to her that’s up to you, but she’s catfishing. figured people should know.
Is there a rule that says someone's profile picture has to contain them?

its misleading and I thought it would be good to tell any of her "boyfriends"

People do much worse then this to get attention, I would say it is a very minor thing to do.

like what?

I see, who said she had "boyfriends"?
they all started messaging me thinking i was hitting on her (which she lied about, shes the one who was sending me messages)

I won't go into details, essentially if you can imagine it has been done.

Takes two to keep up a conservation or a very creative individual.

??????

If profile pics had to be 100% real, Then Mickey Mouse would be facing a class-action lawsuit by now

real funny my boy

This is perfectly normal in fact, people are always using pictures of "famous" people as the profile pictures.
If you really think this is just a rare example....Well you may as well expose half the site, I am probably exaggerating it a bit...

Another person (a guy this time) also is catfishing, im not gonna say the name out of respect but i tried helping him by teaching him how i glowed up (so he can use his real face) but he just been real rude to me.

Definitely not. Profile pics that are actually shots of others are hardly rare. I have a friend whose profile picture is of Jackie Chan, another is of Taylor Swift, another is of Chuck Norris, another of Mikhail Tal, another Rasputin...
I'm not sure why you dislike this girl, OP. Did she rebuff your advances or something?
And this thread is in very poor taste, trashing her behind her back.
The shame is all yours.

The key is to not ever treat anyone online as potential relationship partners. Just shelve that and be friends and assume nothing past that. If you ever meet IRL, that is the time to think about attraction. If you can manage this, you'll thank me later, because catfishers and scammers will become quite obvious when you don't jump at everything they put out there...they will press harder and it will become blatantly obvious that they have an agenda.
P.S. When somebody defends somebody they don't claim to know half a dozen times on one page...have a healthy amount of skepticism about their intentions as well.

Well, we can all read between the lines here.

Make up your mind sir, you respect someone who is catfishing yet you accuse someone else?
