I don't usually resign unless I don't feel like playing he position

no matter what happens my time is my time and the case of me three mintues is my and my opponent's three minutes i will when i realize i have lost use those remaining seconds or minutes the way i want - usually to fool around -- you will get your points when the game is over not before

Blu, you've been around here long enough to know that the topic is about whatever the last commenter says it is. Keep up

Also, people that complain about those who don't resign are often the same people who flag a lost position.

Yep lol usually they do it themselves

If I know I’m beaten or am looking at a stalemate, I’ll resign in good faith. But I’m still learning & am a total beginner, so I’m not sure if I’m doing the right thing. 🤷‍♀️

Jacquie. It's entirely your choice to resign or not. Resignation is the choice of the player who is moving, you don't owe anyone anything, and the idea of "wasting someone's time, especially in a rapid or blitz game is pretty ludicrous anyway.
