A question I've posed before and never gotten an answer to:
Why does Spain appear to be the only country with flags for constituent parts? Many countries are amalgamations of smaller polities, the Russian Federation and United States of America and the US of Mexico, just to name a few. Why only does Spain have them, and why does it have flags for polities that have never existed (Catalonia, notably)? Is the answer as dumb as "the devs are Spanish separatists?"
