Game stopped after I moved?

I just took a Queen in a 10 min game and waited for my opponent to move. He didn’t do anything for a while and the time ran. Then all of a sudden, the game stopped and I got -8 on my rating for not playing for a full minute? I didn’t close the screen and I wasn’t even on the move.. Is this a bug?
You probably had a temporary disconnect and didn't notice. Not a bad idea to hit the refresh button if your opponent seems to be taking an unusually long time. But yeah, one of the chess.com "innovations" is you aren't allowed to think for as long as you want. And yes, most folks seem to think it's a very bad idea. I'll try to dig up an article or two...
