Jerry is my top man for Youtube, but you should also check out OnlineChessLessons and Kingscrusher.

konhidras

BYP by far

fianchetto123

BYP is a complete idiot who knows NOTHING about chess. Just liking his videos is a sign of incompetence.

OnlineChessLessons is my first choice,so many good stuff there. You should check it out.

MythicTojo

Jerry from ChessNetwork. He gives detailed explanations for why moves are made and the plans that the player had and goes into all sorts of variations. And he can make the explanations succint and crystal clear to even amateurs. Finally, my favorite part, he is a self-taught national master. All OnlineChessLessons does is to giggle and he says "I don't know" and "maybe" quite a lot for a master and he is not serious when it comes to analyzing master games. Jerry, on the other hand, absolutely knows what he is talking about and knows when to be serious and when to joke around and be funny (Warzone).

Chessexplained

I like to check out other channels to try to improve mine , so thanks for pointing out BYP (http://www.youtube.com/user/TheBackyardProfessor), didn't know that yet. Maybe I need to get more hair and and get a webcam, lol.

Kingscrusher all the way!

I love his Mikhail Tal playlist.

Mato Jelic.  http://www.youtube.com/user/MatoJelic

Mato's turnout is not wide or interesting enough for me. KC is a little better but he tends to ramble while playing, unlike Jerry who expresses his thoughts clearly, and is also ten times better with the humor element.

Gotta give it to KC for his enthusiasm, his love for the game is crazy. That man breathes chess 24/7.

ChessNetwork has good entertainment value.

Gordon36251

Also, I really like this new guy, GordonChess. Check him out! :)

MSteen

Haven't seen a lot of these guys, but have watched a lot of Mato. I love that guy. His games are short and interesting, always with a key moment where he asks you to figure out what comes next.

The best part, though, is his voice and accent! I could listen to him all day.

Thanks, though, for the other recommendations.

Even though he does not so much explanation i find Matojevic way better, unless he shows modern games. Yes Kingscrusher i dont know i just fall asleep, he might be ok... but his slow talking and his voice make think he is like the most boring guy on earth. Anyway his information value might be great and his nezhmetdinov video was still somewhat interesting.

I used to think KC sounded boring but his British accent sort of grew on me. I find his videos very well done, I like the way he first shows the game and points out the natural-looking moves the average chess player would consider and then runs it through an engine.

i think he talks a bit too much as well, at least thats my memory of him. He definetly is very knowledgeable i guess, but if you would come to the point more and focus a bit more on the important,  maybe thats just me and everyone has a different taste.
