Greeter option unavailable

Hi everybody,

I'm quite new to this site, but I enjoy it a lot ;)

I wanted to know what I need to become a greeter? Is it member points? More time on this site? More games played? ...

In your Settings - Online Chess you should be able to choose this function if you want to be a greeter.

It seems this option is unavailable to me.

I thought I needed something to be a greeter...

Is it a bug??

I think there is a minimum games requirement to becoming a greeter. 5 or 10 if memory serves.

And you've played more than 5-10 games, right?

What is required then?

I'm pretty sure it is a time-on-site requirement.  I seem to recall it being at least a couple of months.

It would have to be because I played more then 10 games.

I'm not overly eager to become a greeter anyway.. From what I read, most games don't get passed the first few moves.

You have to be a member for 1 month before you can be a greeter, I asked the same question and this is what Erik told me.  Good news is that you only have to wait another 7 days to become a greeter !!!!

I'm also new to the site and I've been having the same problem but I haven't played many games and haven't even been a member for a month so that must be it.

Greeting is overrated and unnecessary.
